I’m reading Dress Your Family in Corduroy and Denim by David Sedaris and I have to again say: Damn, that David Sedaris sure is funny. In fact, Sedaris might just be the funniest writer alive.

I’m not sure if the stories in this new book can top the ones in “Me Talk Pretty One Day,” but he’s giving them a run for their money as I reach the middle of the book. David Sedaris writes stories are viciously humorous, insightful and filled with heart.

If you haven’t read anything by David Sedaris, do it. Pick up a paperback copy of “Naked” or “Me Talk Pretty One Day” or the absurdly wonderful “Holidays On Ice” and dive right in.
